South West Printmakers Exhibition
South West Printmakers are currently holding an exhibition of their work at the Sanctuary Golf Resort at Pelican Point, Bunbury. We are a diverse group of individual artists, who have been working together for four years. This is our sixth exhibition.
With members residing throughout the south west, in towns such as Bridgetown, Dardanup, Capel, Bunbury and Mullalyup, this exhibition is inspired by the group’s common passion for printmaking and at the same time reveals each artist’s unique view of the world.
The exhibition will run from September 2 until the end of November. For further information contact Carly at events@sanctuaryresort.com.au.

In Vetland

Dr Perdita Phillips In Vetland exhibition opens on the 28th August to show the results of her 2009 Art Meets Vet Science Artist in Residency program at Murdoch University’s School of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences. Her X-ray sculptures, photographs and drawings will be situated in both the clinical and research areas. For full details as to times and events see the In Vetland blog.
In addition to her own work, in order to do something a little different, Perdita combined her interest in collage and maps by calling for images from other artists to create a large wall piece. The aim was to show a ‘world’ of ways that animals are represented by connecting many images together. A number of PAWA members have work included in the wall piece.
Opening 28 August 5:00pm at the Dean’s Pergola,
School of Veterinary & Biomedical Sciences
Please RSVP for catering purposes vettrust@murdoch.edu.au or telephone 9360 2731
